Onefinity Buildbotics and excessive spindown

We are currently tracking an issue with Onefinity customers using Buildbotics controllers.

This is the only configuration of machine that is using Modbus/RS485 to control the Spindle motor.

It seems that when the BB tells the spindle to stop, it takes approximately 20sec or more for the motor to come to a complete stop.  This does not happen for any other machine or controller.

We've tried dozens of settings, braking resistor, etc... to no avail.

We're actively engaged with the VFD manufacturer to try and identify some settings we can adjust to stop the motor faster.

Some people have expressed success performing as this forum post does.
